WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
In this workshop we will give you a taster of the screen printing process.
Starting with your pre-prepared artwork we will show you how to expose the screen using the photo-emulsion method and how to print your design onto a t-shirt or tote.
During the workshop we will provide you with plain cotton fabrics to practise your skills before moving onto your t-shirt or tote. Advice on artwork preparation can be found below.
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
This is a great taster workshop for anyone interested in the screen-printing process, hobbyists or those wanting to learn a new skill. If you’ve been to a previous introductory screen printing workshop with us this is also a great opportunity for you to develop further ideas on this express workshop.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
You will be given the choice of a T-shirt (any size) or tote bag to print on - you can also purchase further tees or totes to print on for £5 each. Additionally you can choose from a variety of different coloured inks.
WHAT TO PREPARE?
For this workshop we ask that artwork and designs are sent to us ahead of the workshop date as we will prepare the screens for your arrival.
KIN.DER screens will be used if artwork is not sent prior to the workshop date.
Tips for the artwork
Designs can be hand drawn or digital
They must be no larger than A4
Designs must be produced in black - Ink colours can be chosen in session
Please design for one layer/colour only as we only have one screen per person allocated for this workshop.
Please send us your design as a PDF or Ai file or physical artwork can be brought to KIN.DER by the same date for us to process.
The design you will print will be as you have designed it.

WHERE?
Workshops will take place at our KIN.DER studio, Glossop Gasworks, Arundel Street SK13 7AB. Parking is available at the back of the Gasworks or there are car parks on Edward St & Bernard St.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you have to cancel:
If you are unable to attend your booked course, we may accept the fee paid as payment towards a place on the same or another course that takes place within 3 months of the original booking. This will be on the basis that written notice is given within 4 weeks prior to the originally booked workshop.
Bookings will only be transferred once.
If you are unable to attend, and not in a position either to transfer to another event, then the following charges will apply:
Cancellation charges
12 - 6 weeks before the course: 50 % of the fee will be retained by KIN.DER
Less than 6 weeks before the course: 100% of the fee will be retained by KIN.DER
Please note that full payment is required for non-attendance on a booking that has been transferred.

If we have to cancel:
KIN.DER reserves the right to cancel or rearrange courses if there are insufficient participants enrolled to run a viable course or for other unforeseen circumstances. We will do our best to give those who have already enrolled at least one weeks’ notice of cancellation. In such circumstances you will be offered a free transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees paid.
